X SKIF World Championships in Athens begun on Thursday 23 July 2009 and lasted until Sunday 26 July. This event was attended by athletes from 57 countries. On Friday 24 July in the junior competitions Ewa Szewczyk, won a silver medal, vice-world champion in individual kata. The remaining fighters fought an exciting fight, and some were close to enter the finals. On Saturday, 25 July held senior competitions. The best players were from Japan and Venezuela. |

In the days since 3rd to 5th November 2006 in Tokyo took place in the IX SKIF World Champioships. In this event participated more than 1600 players from nearly 70 countries. Not lacking among them Poles also represented by 13 players from Wielkopolska. |

In the days from 23 to 25 November 2007 on Sardegna in Quarto Byron held XI SKIF Europe Championships. In the event that brought together representatives of eighteen European countries, there was twelve participants from Poland: Juniors: Justyna Dziabaszewska, Hubert Skwierzyński, Adam Nowicki, Bartłomiej Głuch, Dominik Książkiewicz, Mikołaj Kowalski.
